These swimming trunks are part of a special collaboration between Polo Ralph Lauren Lauren and Hoffman Fabrics. The original pattern was sourced from the personal archive of Mr Walter Hoffman, whose iconic tropical-print fabrics have been a staple of modern surfwear since the 1950s.
It was then updated specifically for our brand to make it distinctly Polo. The corded loop at the waistband is a detail from vintage board shorts and was used to hold seaside essentials like beach passes.
