To illustrate this summer scene, Diptyque called upon the exceptional expertise of Mathilde Jonquière to create a collection of original mosaic works. Inspired by summer water garden landscapes, the mosaic artist imagines and composes frescoes by meticulously arranging tesserae of Venetian enamels, glass paste and gold. On limited edition bottles and boxes of the collection, these designs capture the poetry of the moment, like a mirror reflecting the freshness of a lush natural setting.
Diptyque began in 1961 as a bohemian Parisian boutique: part fabric shop, part treasure trove of objects brought back from the founders' travels. Today, diptyque's candles, eau de toilettes and body care products, in fragrances including Baies, Feu de Bois and Do Son, are loved worldwide.
