In the words of the Valentino museum, the designer utilised branding - which he incorporated long before most designers - as a "wink", from the use of a sleek 'V' button to sewing a 'V' shaped seam in the hem of a jacket. Here, the brand continues that long-standing philosophy, detailing a workwear-inspired overshirt silhouette with subtly engraved buttons and a leather and metal VLogo patch.
