Just like loewe's Flamenco and Puzzle Edge bags, the Toy loafers are taking on a new form this season, influenced by the whimsical artwork of Japanese ceramics house Suna Fujita. Based in Kyoto, this namesake artist draws inspiration from the imagination, childhood memories and life with his son and pet dog to create hand-painted stories on teapots, cups and plates. Here, his famous octopus motifs clamber across the shoe's façade, interacting with hamsters and human children.
For more than 150 years Loewe specialised in leather and silk. While still renowned for its expertly crafted leather goods, including its now-iconic origami-inspired puzzle fold bags, the range has grown to include a wide range of innovative luxury accessories and ready-to-wear collections that have captured the zeitgeist.
