Although helmed by American creative director Matthew M. Williams, Givenchy is forever imbued with Parisian spirit. Proof? The label’s Lavallière blouse, which takes its moniker from the French term for pussybow. Shaped from pure, sumptuous silk into a long-sleeved silhouette, the style is fitted with a detachable cami layer and finished off with – of course – a pussybow tie, which you can fasten into a bow or leave open for a nonchalant aesthetic.
Staying true to its Haute couture roots Givenchy is one of the most sought after brands of today. Under the creative genius of Ricacardo Tisci the collections are reminiscent of Hubert Givenchy’s mastery of sharp tailoring whilst also showcasing a rawer and tougher edge which comes natural to Tisci.
