This piece is part of the COS ATELIER collection, the limited capsule founded on the principles of luxury and exceptional design. This directional blazer brings a deconstructed element to the ATELIER Autumn Winter 2023 collection. Playing with proportion, it's shaped in an asymmetric silhouette that falls to a longer, straight-cut hem at the front and dips to a cropped, open back. Style it as a suit with a matching waistcoat and coordinating trousers.
The ATELIER team selected a premium blend of recycled fibres and wool that has been certified according to the Responsible Wool Standard. The weighty suiting cloth effortlessly holds the blazer's structure and shape, while the full lining ensures easy layering. This piece has special features in abundance, from the grosgrain trims and buttonhole details at the cuffs to the concealed hook closure and raw, exposed finishes. You can hang it up by the loop at the nape – a collection signature.
A brand whose aesthetic has been so influential that it’s hard to remember what went before. But when COS launched in 2007 against a backdrop of fast, trend-led fashion, its focus on minimal pieces at accessible prices was a breakthrough moment. With a focus on style over trend, it heralded a new era for interesting, modern, considered design and changed our wardrobes for the better, forever.
