Inspired by third and final part of Dante's Divine Comedy, Paradiso, Alighieri's 'The Lustre of the Moon' earrings are meant "to bring you light and clarity in the starry night". They've been handmade in London from recycled silver using ancient waxing techniques to achieve the unique molten appearance and are anchored by lustrous freshwater pearls.
Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London. Core pieces are cast in recycled bronze before being plated in gold, or made in solid sterling silver, supplied by certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
