The Infernal Storm Gold-Plated Pearl Earrings

Rosh Mahtani designed Alighieri's 'The Infernal Storm' earrings to be full of juxtapositions. Crafted in London using a lost-wax technique from gold-plated recycled bronze, one is hollowed with a teardrop outline while the other is filled in and flipped upside-down. The freshwater pearls are beautifully unique, adding to the thought-provoking charm.

Founded in 2014, Alighieri creates jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’. Its ‘Modern Heirlooms’ are all handcrafted in London. Core pieces are cast in recycled bronze before being plated in gold, or made in solid sterling silver, supplied by certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
