Cotton-Linen Mini Dress

Alaïa has mastered the art of dressing women from the moment it was established in 1964. Its eponymous founder always celebrated the female form and used his background as a sculptor to define the Maison's aesthetic. Here, we see current creative director Pieter Mulier pay homage to that with this mini dress, which features a corseted bodice and flared skirt.

The legendary Paris fashion house was founded in the sixties and by the 1980s, Tunisian sculptor and couturier, Azzedine Alaïa’s powerful, feminine silhouettes were revered worldwide. Today, his legacy prevails in dresses and ready to wear, shoes and bags, including the cult La Coeur heart bag.
